AppleScript
1.4
AppleScript 1.4, which is available with Mac OS 9.0,
includes the following new features: you can use URLs in Tell
blocks to specify a machine location, allowing delivery of Apple
events to remote applications via TCP/IP; you can target a specific
application in a script with the phrase "using terms from";
the "on error" clause in a Try block is now optional; and the
Script Editor is now a Carbon application. Scripts that use
IP addressing or the "using terms from" construct will not run
on versions of the Mac OS prior to 9.0. AppleScript's new features
